Focused on Jesus and grounded in prayer, Jimmie Sue seeks to proclaim Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. She has been involved in renewal ministries for over 30 years. She served as the Catholic Charismatic liaison for the Archdiocese of Anchorage for 3 years.
Some call her a "prophetic revivalist", others call her an evangelist and teacher, she simply calls herself in love with Jesus. As such, she employs different approaches to communicate the saving message and love of Jesus Christ. She has a love for the whole body of Christ reaching far beyond denominational boundaries. She has a heart for Ecumenism and serves as a bridge between Catholics and Protestants.
Jimmie Sue goes forth in apostolic itinerancy after the pattern of Matthew 10. She travels throughout Alaska and the lower forty eight states bringing a fresh word and impartation of God's Spirit. Her sense of humor, revelation and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit ignite a fresh passion in the hearts of believers.
The Consecrated Life
"In every age there have been men and women who, obedient to the Father's call and to the prompting of the Spirit, have chosen this special way of following Christ, in order to devote themselves to him with an "undivided" heart
(1 Cor 7:34). Like the Apostles, they too have left everything behind in order to be with Christ and to put themselves, as he did, at the service of God and their brothers and sisters."
Sister Jimmie Sue has chosen this way of life. She is a member of a canonically recognized community within the Roman Catholic Church. She lives a life of:
Apostolic Simplicity: so that others might know the wealth of Jesus.
Chastity: so that others might be wed to our Lord.
Obedience: so that others might know the freedom of co-heirs to His Kingdom and the divine authority of He who first humanly obeyed.
she also holds dear to:
Substantial Silence: so that others might come to know the presence of the Lord
Substantial Solitude: so that others might come to know the presence of the Constant Companion.
Prayer: so others might experience the divine action of Jesus' love in their life.
Jimmie Sue served a three year term as the North West Regional Vicar for her community. In addition to the duties that are customary and necessary as a Vicar; she was also responsible for the formation of the Postulants, Novitiates and Temporary Professed through out the states of Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, Oregon and parts of Canada.
